“The bells rang, and every body smiled”
by HML
All these pictures and more can be found in the Gimlet Gallery.
Uncle B and Hillary (we’re going to have to do something to differentiate between the Aunt H in Texas and our new Aunt H) were married May 30 in the Seattle LDS Temple. The sun was out, the rhododendrons were still in bloom, and although there are technically no bells to ring at the temple, every body was smiling.
Introducing the bride and groom! A little later, Uncle B takes time to pose with his biggest fan, five year-old niece Gabby.
Obligatory beauty shot in front of the temple, and during all the picture-taking, Thing Two and his Bopa decided it was time to take a walk in the shade.
The parents of the bride and groom express their enthusiasm over seeing their children finally married.
After lunch at Maggiano’s, we enjoyed a brief break before the reception at the Space Needle.
The sky was clear, making the evening one of the rare occasions when you really get your money’s worth out of the elevator ride to the top.
The newlyweds spent the next week at a beach house near Tofino, British Columbia, and are now settling into their new home. Congratulations and welcome to the family!

It looked like it was a beautiful day for the wedding. They are a lovely couple, and I just love the parent shot-so cute!
