The big leaves are a pumpkin vine. Thing Two dearly hopes he will be able to grow his own pumpkin for Halloween. Thing One successfully grew a pumpkin at our old house from a seedling given to him by his second grade teacher. This patio is an eyesore and is too hot for a sitting area, but it seems to be the ideal place for a raised bed garden. A few more boxes and plants, and it will look really nice!
